Popular South African Rapper, Malome Vector Is Dead

Popular South African rapper, Malome Vector, has died in a car accident.

Naija News reports that Vector’s record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment, confirmed the tragic incident in a social media post on Thursday evening.

Vector was travelling with musical collaborators, Puleng Phoofolo and Lizwi Wokuqala when the accident happened in the Free State on Wednesday evening.

Two others with injuries were reportedly transported to Boitumelo Regional Hospital.

The post read, “With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of a shining beacon; the Lion of Lesotho’s sun has set. Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and industry peers during this time of profound loss.”

“A report by the Free State Department of Health explained that “three men were declared dead at the scene of an accident on the N1 near the Koppies turn-off close to Kroonstad.”

In other news, ace Nigerian music executive cum CEO of Mavin Records, Micheal Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, has revealed why he does not allow his artistes to release songs or projects on the same day as their colleagues, Wizkid and Asake.

Naija News reports that Mavin Records has stars like Rema, Ayra Starr, Crayon, Magixx, Boy Spyce, Johnny Drille, and Lifesize Teddy on its radar.

In an interview with Nigerian Youtuber, Fisayo Fosudo’s podcast, Jazzy said releasing music on the same day as Wizkid or Asake would be suicidal and will postpone his artiste’s new project release to a later date.
