The Minister of Youths Development, Ayodele Olawande, has said President Bola Tinubu is committed to empowering Nigerian youths.
Ayodele Olawande said through different programmes, initiatives of the administration and student loan scheme, the President has been improving the lives of youths.
He stated this on Tuesday in a media parley at the Ministry’s Youth Conference Hall. He said his ministry has been making efforts to ensure youths benefit from all government programmes.
“The Ministry is making progress. We will continue to proffer solutions to the problems we are facing individually as youths and collectively as a country. We already started. We have solved some problems and we will continue to try our best to overcome every challenge.
“We are working closely with government MDAs, international corporations, and the private sector to ensure that the interests of youth are prioritized,” he said.
The Youths Minister said the student loan scheme programme was a commitment from the President to ensure that Nigerian youths get adequate and quality education without financial hindrance.
“Through the NELFUND initiative, no student will go out of school because of inability to pay school feed. That pledge from President Bola Tinubu still stands as millions of youths are in school studying without fear,” he stated.
He called on youths to follow the Ministry’s activities to ensure they benefit from the government’s programmes.
“I want every Nigerian youth to research the ministry’s website and to catch up with updates, programmes and initiatives. President Bola Tinubu’s administration has been doing a lot to ensure we benefit from all the initiatives of this administration,” he added.
