National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Ralph Okey Nwosu has charged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to rejig his vision to add value to the benefit of the country

Nwosu regretted that the Renewed Hope Agenda of Tinubu’s All Progressive Congress, APC, government has brought poverty and untold hardship to the country.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja, the Party Chieftain noted that the vision of Tinubu’s government is not clear, adding that Nigerians are yet to understand the vision.

He said “It is not about Nigerians asking him to rejig his cabinet members but it is all derived from the vision of Mr President, what has he told us Nigerians is his vision? all he is doing is to dominate the space of power.

”If the president as number one defined his vision and you are now telling him to rejig, in leadership by the time people like us understand his vision and value, then we will advise him, but if his ambition is to install his men and endanger the poor, then it will one day turn to a banana republic.

“I don’t know the vision of Tinubu’s government, what is renewed Hope Agenda, renewed Hope in what? Poverty, infrastructural decay, corruption, adding more private jets when our foreign debt was not paid, foreigners are seizing our presidential jets and properties. Where is the hope, it is parochial renewed Hope. The president and his men are dancing to very dangerous music.

“For some of us who knew Tinubu in 1991 when he became a senator and participated in NADEC to restore Abiola’s mandate, one wonders Asiwagu’s is this what is all about for you? Now you are in the villa, if it is, it shows parochialism. If he has been held hostage then he needs to free himself and fly. The day his vision is clearer and aligns with ADC’s vision, we will begin to support him”

Speaking on the invitation of the president of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Joe Ajaero by the Police, he cautioned the Inspector General of Police, IGP, and other intelligence security agencies to be careful in their actions and inactions not to jeopardize the interest of over 200 million Nigerians and preserve the sanctity and integrity of their profession.

“I want to use this opportunity to address the Inspector General of Police and other intelligence agencies, they should be careful in their actions and inactions as it affects over 200 million Nigerians, I see John Wayne Cowboy wild wild west character”
