The House of Representatives Committee on Digital and Information Communication Technology will hold a stakeholders’ meeting to discuss developing a national digital economy on Tuesday.
The meeting which will involve the media is on a National Digital Economy and e-Governance Bill currently before the National Assembly.
The engagement scheduled for Tuesday, July 9, 2024 will be held in collaboration with the Senate Committee on ICT & Cybercrimes, led by Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu.
Chairman of the House Committee, Hon. Adedeji Stanley Olajide in a statement said the engagement is in line with the commitment of the National Assembly to an inclusive process inn lawmaking.
He said this will be the first of a series of engagements by the leadership of the Senate Committee on ICT & Cybercrimes and the House Committee on Digital and Information Communication Technology in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Communication, Information and Digital Economy.
