The World Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Organisation has commended United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Nigeria, Mr Mohamed Malick Fall, for his dedication and commitment to advancing sustainable development across the country.

The commendation was contained in a statement signed by the secretary-general of the World SDG Organisation, Emmanuel Huleji Daudu, and shared with journalists in Abuja yesterday.

The global founder expressed his admiration for Fall’s week-long tour across Nigeria.
He said, “The tour, which focused on assessing the progress of the 17 SDGs, involved interactions with key stakeholders, including state governors, private sector leaders, civil society organisations, and traditional rulers.

“These engagements are crucial in driving Nigeria’s development agenda.

“This tour reflects Mr Fall’s deep commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians and his passion for humanity,” Daudu remarked.

“His direct engagement with leaders and communities will undoubtedly accelerate the implementation of the SDGs across the federation.”

Daudu further emphasised that the support of the World SDG organisation—locally and globally—would be available to ensure that the UN coordinator’s efforts yield substantial and lasting results for Nigeria’s development.

This commendation comes as Nigeria continues to work towards achieving the 2030 Agenda, focusing on poverty alleviation, education, gender equality, and other critical SDG targets.
