Senator Tolu Odebiyi hosts grand traditional wedding for daughter

A former lawmaker who represented Ogun West Senatorial District at the upper chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Tolu Odebiyi, pulled all the strings required for her daughter, Ayotola Oluwatoyin’s grand wedding a few days ago.

Senator Odebiyi, a former Chief of Staff to former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, is a prominent political figure in Ogun State. The handsome politician lived up to our expectations when he literally shut down the bubbling city of Lagos for her daughter’s lavish traditional wedding.

A society wedding by every standard, Senator Odebiyi daughter’s wedding is definitely on the list of top 10 Classy Weddings of 2024. And this is not overhyped one bit. The traditional wedding between Senator Odebiyi’s daughter, Ayotola Oluwatoyin and her heartthrob, Muktar Tolani, a member of Nigeria’s House of Representatives and son of prominent businesswoman, Hajia Bola Shagaya brought together the movers and shakers of Nigeria’s high society under one roof.

At the reception held at the prestigious Harbour Point, in Victoria Island area of Lagos, the easygoing politician, Senator Tolu Odebiyi, gave his high-flying guests an experience of a lifetime. Best known for his bright personality, Senator Odebiyi is described as a man who likes perfection and class.

And this was obvious at his daughter’s classy wedding reception. Senator Odebiyi, a close ally of Senator Ibikunle Amosun, constantly moved around to ensure that his guests were well taken care of. The traditional wedding was attended by Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, Governors, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Dr. Femi Hamzat, Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Senator Solomon Adeola aka Yayi, Senator Gbenga Daniel, Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, Jim Ovia, Chairman of Zenith Bank, Sir Kensington Adebutu aka Baba Ijebu and so many more.

Senator Odebiyi, the bride’s father has carved a niche for himself as one of frontline political figures from Ogun West. During his tenure as Ogun West Senator, he tackled the issue of poverty in his Senatorial District by establishing a foundation with a focus on education – which he believes is the most effective way of eradicating poverty.

Senator Odebiyi empowered hundreds of students via scholarship programmes, and helped a host of others secured employments in Fintech companies.
