Undoubtedly, top player in the nation’s oil sector and serial entrepreneur, Aisha Achimugu always feels a compelling need to impact the society positively.

Although, it is known fact loves a good life; after all, she works hard for money . But unlike many in her social class, she prioritises charity a great deal, and she is always receptive to any initiative targeted at lessening the burdens of the hoi polloi around her.

Recently, the successful entrepreneur, as usual, showcased her act of altruism when she was one of the invited guests at a birthday soirée in Abuja organized by Global Initiative For Peace, Love and Care.

The well-attended event had been put together to an equally successful businessman, Julius Rone, OFR, the Chief Executive Officer of UTM, Offshore Limited, UTMOL, who turned 50 on June 25, amidst pomp and ceremony.

The organisers, among others, aimed to raise the sum of N50m for 50 ailing individuals who needed to undergo sundry surgeries.

Looking back now, the organisers are extremely joyful that they did not leave out Achimugu when they were sending out the invites.

Though the event has come and gone, her philanthropic gesture on the occasion has since been generating interesting discourse in the media.

Like a God-sent, she had joyfully donated a humongous amount of N20m in support of the cause, a donation that literally made the hall rose and tumble in joy.

Achimugu also added colour to the event when she gladdened the heart of a seven-year-old violin player with a donation of a million naira.

According to her, the young girl had dazzled her with her uncommon brilliance and rare talent; hence the monetary gift.
