Nigerian singer Shallipopi has made a surprising revelation about his lifestyle, claiming that he doesn’t smoke despite often posing with cigarettes in his pictures and videos.

In a recent interview with Soundcity, the ‘Oba Pluto’ crooner disclosed that he uses cigarettes solely for aesthetic purposes. “One thing that my fans don’t know about me is that I don’t smoke. It’s just aesthetics,” he said.

Shallipopi also opened up about what inspired him to pursue a career in music, citing hardship as his primary motivation. “What influences me to do music is hardship. You don’t want to go through hardship in this country,” he stated.
