The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement on Sunday prayed for Nigeria, declaring 2025 a year of dominion for the country.

The church made the intercession and declaration at its 22nd anniversary celebration.

The anniversary celebration coincided with its 2024 National Retreat, at its headquarters at Ijesha, Lagos State.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the two-day retreat, which began on Saturday, had the theme: “Only God Can Do It”.

The event, which attracted members of the church and others within and outside Nigeria, featured praise worship and prayer sessions.

There were also testimonies of God’s goodness.

The General Overseer of the Church, Lazarus Muoka, in his sermon, admonished Nigerians to avoid sin to enable them to attract God’s grace.

Muoka said that there was a need for sinners to repent and seek God’s forgiveness.

“We are raising, through this retreat, an altar of national revival to sanctify our land and people.

“We are presenting Nigeria to God for purification and restoration of its glory.

“God will give our leaders the wisdom to lead the people to the desired destination.

“May He answer our prayers to revamp the economy,” he said.

He implored Nigerians to shun bitterness, unforgiveness, malice, envy, and immorality, and seek God and His righteousness.

Muoka prayed to God to tackle Nigeria’s challenges and grant it stability in every area.
