Simi begs for wearing body-revealing swimsuit

Singer Simisola Kosoko, popular known as Simi, has apologised for wearing body revealing swimsuit to a pool after she was heavily critised on the social media by some Nigerians.

The singer through a post on her Instagram handle apologised for her action, as she also accepted that she was not thinking when she wore the outfit to the pool . She noted that her friend had earlier advised her against wearing it, but she never took it seriously.

“My friend told me, ‘Sims, you can’t wear a swimsuit at the pool; you’re married’. I should have known better; I didn’t know better, and I’m sorry.

”Next time, I will go to the swimming pool and as a sign of respect to my husband, I will wear a kaftan. I will do better than the best. I don’t want to disappoint you.

“I just came here feeling repentant. Yesterday I went to the swimming pool and I wore a swimsuit, guys, and I’m just so sorry,” Simi admitted.

Simi, began her music career as a gospel singer and released her first studio album, Ogaju, in 2008.
