The beautiful singer said this while sharing ideas in her conversation with Dose Society. Starr noted that she does not depend on people to validate her as this notion is a misplaced priority. Ayra Starr further noted that it’s more helpful to focus on personal growth and self-confidence instead of waiting for validation from another person.

“What matters less? I think opinions and people’s perceptions of you doesn’t [matter].

“Trust me, people are living their lives. Everybody is busy. People are hungry. Stop caring and stop thinking what people are thinking about you. People are hungry, tired. Life is hard. Just do you.”

“Sometimes, you’re there overthinking, ‘what does this person think about me?’ Then, they’re just like, ‘what’s gonna happen today? Am I gonna make it home? The singer explained

For her, people should learn to have confidence in themselves and not depend on others to validate them.

“There’s a lot happening in the world, and if you spend your time thinking about what people think about you, you’re just gonna waste time. Do you, find yourself. Be confident in yourself. Don’t care about the outcome. Just do. Don’t be afraid to fail. Fail as many times as you want to but when you get it right, you’re going to be so proud of yourself.” she concluded.
