Veteran juju music maestro, King Sunny Ade, delivered a stellar performance at the golden jubilee celebration of an entrepreneur, Bolaji Kassim.
The event, held at the Whitestone Event Place in Ikeja, Lagos was attended by family and friends, who were treated to good food, drinks and music.
The hall was beautifully decorated with flowers, adding to the festive atmosphere. Guests enjoyed a variety of dishes as they celebrated the birthday girl, who made a grand entrance accompanied by her husband.
The celebrant dazzled in multiple outfits throughout the night, including a black accent gown with shiny drop ropes, and a sparkling blue lace skirt and blouse with matching headgear; further adding to the evening’s glamour.
One of the highlights of the event was the shared dance moments between the celebrant and her husband.
Meanwhile, on the bandstand, the 77-year-old Sunny Ade, who was dressed in a stylish suit, proved that age is just a number, as he captivated guests with his energetic and riveting performance.
The iconic singer and his band members left many enthralled as they displayed ‘leg work’ and other dance moves, adding ‘steeze’ to the party.
Another highlight of KSA’s performance was when he received bundles of cash from the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Adewale Shotobi, as he paid homage to the crown, showing respect while maintaining his signature flair.
