Benjamin Tanimu, a 22-year-old centre-back formerly with Bendel Insurance, arrived at the team’s base, the Four Points by Sheraton in Uyo, on Tuesday afternoon, and he joined his teammates for their first training session tonight.

Recall that Tanimu made a move to English League One club Crawley Town on transfer deadline day from Singida Black Stars of Tanzanian.

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated arrival of Victor Osimhen to the Super Eagles camp is scheduled for Thursday.

Osimhen, a key member of the Super Eagles’ 23-man squad, is expected to join the team for the upcoming qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

The 25-year-old is set to complete his loan move to Galatasaray, the Turkish Super Lig champions, on Tuesday.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced that Osimhen, along with Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, will link up with their teammates at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel base two days before the game against Benin Republic.

Furthermore, Kelechi Iheanacho, who recently joined Sevilla in Spain, is anticipated to join the camp on Wednesday, adding to the total of 20 players currently in the team’s camp.
