Premier League game week 10 results

The champions, who were uncharacteristically lethargic, went 2-1 down to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

The result saw Pep Guardiola's side relinquish their lead at the top of the table after Liverpool came from behind to beat Brighton. The Reds now lead the pack, two points ahead of Manchester City.

The other surprise result was Nottingham Forest moving into the top three after beating a 10-man West Ham. Nuno Espirito's side are just a point ahead of Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa who are all on 18 points but separated by goal difference.

Arsenal suffered another defeat, this time going down to Newcastle United, while Chelsea rescued a point at Old Trafford. Aston Villa were convincingly beaten away at Tottenham.

Supercomputer predicts final Premier League table

Opta Supercomputer still has Manchester City winning the league next May despite their slip-up. The predictions give the Citizens a 61.95% ahead of Liverpool's 33.39%.

Arsenal have been given third with Chelsea place further back to seal the Champions League spots. Forest have been primed to have the biggest drop as per the current standings, eventually finishing 10th.

Premier League fixtures

The odds might change this weekend with a couple of top games lined up. Chelsea will entertain Arsenal in a London derby while Liverpool take on Aston Villa. Brighton plays Manchester City.

Cole Palmer injury update

Legit.ng had also reported that the Chelsea boss provided an update on Cole Palmer's injury situation after the Manchester United game.

Lisandro Martinez lunged dangerously at the England international, catching him on the knee in stoppage time.
