English striker Tammy Abraham has completed a season-long loan move to AC Milan from Roma instead of returning to the Premier League to play for West Ham United.

Tammy Abraham, who has 11 caps for the England national team and previously played for Chelsea, joined Roma in 2021 for £34 million and scored 37 goals in 120 appearances.

Abraham was part of the Roma team that secured the Europa Conference League title under former manager Jose Mourinho in 2022.

The move to AC Milan will reunite him with former Chelsea teammates Christian Pulisic, Fikayo Tomori, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

A statement on Roma’s official website reads: “The club can confirm that Tammy Abraham has joined AC Milan on loan.

“The English striker joined the Giallorossi from Chelsea in the summer of 2021 and made 120 appearances, scoring 37 goals, helping the club win the Conference League in 2022.

“Good luck on your new adventure, Tammy!”

Meanwhile, former Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has joined Lyon on a season-long loan from Galatasaray.
