Goyo called for collaboration that is aimed at developing the game at all levels, especially from grassroots to professional leagues.
By working together, he said they can create a more sustainable and inclusive sports environment, benefiting the people spread across the state.
The Director of Sports Council, George Shitta, said he was optimistic that collaboration will drive a positive change and ensure the long-term success of the game.
Shitta called for support for the administration of Governor Agbu Kefas, who is a supporter of sports development.
Earlier, the Japan-based basketballer, Mbonu Lordprince, who hailed from Anambra state, said he was motivated to donate the materials to the Taraba basketball team following the hands of friendship he received from the team, the sports council and the state Ministry of Sports while going through the early stages of his career.
Citing how he was trained in Taraba to the level of becoming a professional basketballer, he called on his colleagues to also give back to the society.
