Arsenal's worrying form

The Gunners last won the Premier League in 2004 and struggled to reach that level for years until Mikel Arteta arrived in the last few seasons.

They lost the title by two points last season to Manchester City after slipping up in April against Aston Villa.

The Gunners have lost two Premier League matches this season, their latest coming last weekend at Newcastle.

The three-time Premier League champions have won five of their ten matches so far and are seven points behind leaders Liverpool.

Henry's verdict on Arsenal

After their defeat to Inter Milan in the Champions League, Henry said the team is not good right now, but there's still a long way to go. He also underscored their form away from home.

"Right now they’re not they’re not challenging for the league, obviously as you can see the results are not good enough to be able to be at the top, still a long way to go," he said via The Mirror."Away from home I don’t think it was good enough. But we were getting away with it for a very long time, now we’re not any more."

He reckons that if they lose to Chelsea this weekend, their title chances could take a nose dive, underlining the threat that Liverpool and Manchester City pose.

"I think it [would] be extremely difficult. Why? Because you have too many teams to catch...I don’t see two teams collapsing, that’s my issue."

Arsenal lost five games in total last season in the league, and they've lost two after 10 rounds this campaign. Furthermore, they've won once away from home in their last six matches in all competitions. Can they bounce back?

Arteta warns Chelsea

Legit.ng earlier reported that Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta sent a subtle warning to Chelsea ahead of their London derby showdown this weekend.

Arteta said his team will be able to walk away with maximum points if they perform like it did against Inter Milan.
