Those Against Tinubu’s Stance On Israel-Gaza War Are Ignorant – Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has praised President Bola Tinubu for his statement on Israel-Gaza war.

Femi Kayode said Nigerians against President Tinubu’s statement during the Arab/Islamic Summit in Riyadh are ignorant and out of touch with reality.

In a statement on Thursday on his X handle, Kayode accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.

He argued that no Nigerian Christian would support Israel‘s war on Gaza because it is against Christianity.

Kayode wrote: “Those that claim that President Tinubu’s representation at the Arab/Islamic summit in Riyadh on the genocide in Gaza is ‘offensive and impeachable’ and that claim that ‘Nigerian Christians support everything Israel is doing are mendacious, dangerously ignorant and out of touch with reality.

“They fail to appreciate the fact that the slaughter that is going on in Gaza is not about religion but about humanity.

Christianity does not support ethnic cleansing, mass murder, crimes against humanity, war crimes or genocide and it compels us to resist evil and injustice.

“Christianity does not support the killing of babies and the bombing of Churches in Bethlehem where Jesus was born and Nazareth where he came from.

Christianity does not support the sexual abuse, rape and sodomisation of Palestinian detainees including women and children.

“Christianity does not support apartheid and the establishment of a racist, fascist ethno-supremacist state run by white European settlers at the expense of the Arab and semitic native population who actually own the land.

“Christianity does not support the harvesting, removal and sale of body parts belonging to martyred Palestinian soldiers and civilians,
Including women and children.

Blaming anyone or any nation for going to an international forum, whether Christian or Muslim, whose objective is to bring an end to the occupation and carnage in Palestine and  bring peace to the Middle East is disingenuous, callous and blind.”
