Tincan Island Terminal appoints new spokesperson

The Tincan Island Container Terminal, operator of Terminal B at the Tincan Island Port, has announced the appointment of Mr Philips Ojo to oversee and lead its corporate communications strategies and initiatives.

The terminal announced this in a statement on Wednesday.

The terminal explained in his new role, Ojo would spearhead internal and external communications, brand management, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, stakeholder engagement, advertising, and social media management.

Ojo is a communications professional with a background in journalism and corporate communications.

Before joining TICT, Ojo began his career as a journalist with Daily Sun Newspaper and later joined the corporate communications department of SIFAX Group in 2015, where he rose to become a deputy manager in the communications department.

He is also an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and has attended various trainings at the School of Communications, Pan Atlantic University; Orange Academy; Wordslingers, and Webloft Concepts, among others.
