Tinubu appoints eight new perm secs

President Bola Tinubu has appointed eight new permanent secretaries in the federal civil service to fill existing and upcoming vacancies across various states and geopolitical zones.

The appointments followed recommendations by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation after a rigorous selection process, according to a statement by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, on Monday evening.

The newly appointed permanent secretaries are OnwusoroIhemelandu from Abia State; Ndiomu Philip from Bayelsa State; Anuma Nlia from Ebonyi State; Ogbodo  Nnam from Enugu State; Kalba Usman from Gombe State; Usman Aminu from Kebbi State; Oyekunle Nwakuso from Rivers State; and Nadungu Gagare from Kaduna State.

This marks the second batch of permanent secretaries appointed by Tinubu, following the first set announced last June, which included representatives from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, and other regions.

President Tinubu urged the new appointees to exhibit unwavering dedication, diligence, and innovation in their service to the nation.
