Tinubu Appoints Heads Of Federal Agencies

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointments of heads of some federal agencies.
Silas Agara is the new director-general of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), according to presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale.

In separate statements, he said President Tinubu also approved the appointment of Tosin Adeyanju as the new executive secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF).

Also appointed is Umar Ibrahim Mohammed as director-general of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA).

Baffa Dan Agundi also becomes the director-general of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), while Saleh Abubakar is now the director-general of the National Agency for the Great Green Wall (NAGGW).

According to Ngelale, the president has also approved the appointment of Oluwaseun Faleye as managing director/chief officer of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) while Mrs. Mojisolaoluwa Kehinde Alli-Macaulay is now executive director (Operations) of the fund.

Tinubu also approved the appointment of Ms. Omolola Bridget Oloworaran as director-general of the National Pension Commission (PenCom).

Other appointments include; Jobson Ewalefoh as director-general of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo as executive secretary/chief executive officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), Senator Bashir Lado.

Mohammed as special adviser to the president on Senate Matters (Office of the President), Dr. Mainasara Umar Kogo as chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) and Idris Ajimobi as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Livestock Development (Office of the President).
