Tinubu Extols Late Emir of Ningi

President Bola Tinubu has described the late Emir of Ningi, Yunusa Muhammad, as a force to reckon with in the quest to unite Nigerians who belong to various religious groups and ethnic nationalities.

The president, who said this in Bauchi on Friday when he paid a condolence visit to the government and family of the late emir, expressed shock and sadness over the death of the emir.

President Tinubu, who was represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, commended the late emir for his contributions to national unity and development of the country.

He said the emir played a significant role in nation-building, describing him as a leader who worked tirelessly to promote peace, stability and development in Bauchi State and beyond.

“He was a champion of progress and a beacon of hope for his people. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations to work towards a better Nigeria,” he said.

Responding, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and the vice president for their condolences.

He described the late emir as a revered leader and a symbol of unity in the state.

Governor Mohammed also praised the late emir for his role in promoting peace and development in the state, saying he was a true leader and a father to all and that his wisdom and guidance would be greatly missed.
