‘Tinubu Not Cause Of Challenges Nigerians Are Facing’ – Lawmaker

The lawmaker representing the Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency in Oyo State, Aderemi Oseni, has stated that President Bola Tinubu is not the cause of challenges Nigerians are currently facing, including the bad roads across the nation.

Naija News reports that the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency stated this during a visit to express gratitude at the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) located in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, the state’s capital.

The legislator expressed concern over the country’s poor state of federal roads and urged citizens to exercise patience with President Tinubu, allowing him additional time to tackle the challenges facing Nigeria.

Oseni noted that the federal government is making moves to ensure the rehabilitation of all federal roads throughout Nigeria.

This initiative is part of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at alleviating the hardships the populace faces, the lawmaker said.

He stated, “Tinubu is not the cause of the challenges we are currently facing, including bad roads across the nation. These issues extend beyond the current administration. Tinubu is working diligently to resolve the problems created by previous administrations. As part of his Renewed Hope Agenda, he is making concerted efforts to repair all federal roads across Nigeria, easing the suffering of the masses.”

Oseni conveyed his sympathies to the party regarding the demise of its former Chairman, Isaac Omodewu, and expressed his appreciation to the party members for their support during his electoral success.

He urged the party to come together in anticipation of the 2027 elections, prompting the executive members to formulate a strategy aimed at regaining power.

Additionally, Oseni contributed ₦10 million to the party for operational expenses.

In reply, the acting Chairman of the party, Olayide Abas, expressed gratitude to Oseni for his visit to the secretariat, highlighting his commendable efforts to make a positive difference in his constituency.
