The director general of the Small Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Mr Charles Odii, has assured Nigerians that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope mantra is on course and making adequate positive progress.

He stated this at the All Progressives Congress. (APC), secretariat, in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South local government area, Delta State while doling out 27 units of 25kg bags of rice, 300 units of 10kg bags of rice, 200 bags randomly to constituents in the 11 wards of the area.

He advised his constituents and Nigerians in general to support the president in the fight to ensure that we have a much better Nigeria in the near future, noting that when “you fight corruption, corruption will definitely fight back.”

While pleading with constituents to stay safe and enjoy the holiday season, taking cognizance of the fact that Jesus is the reason for the season, he urged constituents to keep hope alive in line with the President’s Renewed Hope mantra.

“What we face today is the impact of corruption fighting back and not ill-fated policies painted as propaganda by a desperate move for power,” he added.

Comrade Norbert Sochukwudima, Chairman, Aniocha South LGA,  Comrade Austin Utulu, Youth leader, flanked by other executives of the party while receiving and appreciating him, said it was a clear sign of many more things to come.

“What the DG of SMEDAN has done reaching out to the grassroots, the executive members of the APC across the 11 wards of Aniocha South, his immediate constituency, his local government is a noble one. Hope is alive, just like the agenda of our dear president, renewed Hope agenda will work.

“At a time we were worried, because we’ve been expecting this kind of gesture and we are glad it has finally come and we know more will come by the grace of God, we are grateful.

“At least this time, the people will smile because something like this has never happened before. The rice has been evenly distributed, and many are leaving here happy. We have prayed for him, and we appreciate him,” he said.
