Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has released the music video for her single “Commona,” featuring Olamide and Mystro Sugar.

The track, available on all major digital platforms, is part of the soundtrack for Savage’s debut feature film *Water & Garri*, which is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Produced by Blaise Beatz, “Commona” showcases Savage’s smooth vocals over a mid-tempo, fuji-inspired beat.

The video, directed by Jyde Ajala, was shot in Los Angeles, California.

She posted a short snippet of the video on her X page with the caption, “King baddo with the hardest flow COMMONA Out Now.”

The Water & Garri soundtrack, created by Savage, includes 10 original songs featuring collaborations with African artists such as Ayra Starr, Young Jonn, Aṣa, Richard Bona, and Black Sherif. The album blends elements of Afropop, R&B, and hip-hop.

Water & Garri marks Savage’s first lead role in a feature film, in which she also serves as executive producer. In May, the film achieved Prime Video’s biggest weekend opener in Nigeria.

It also secured the top spot in Togo, Cameroon, and Ghana, and ranked in the top 10 in 12 other countries, including the UK, South Africa, Qatar, and Cyprus.
