- Many of Cristiano Ronaldo's teammates are still free agents this summer after leaving their clubs
- Adrien Rabiot and Alex Sandro shared the pitch with the Al-Nassr star at Juventus but left early in the summer
- The 39-year-old has shared the pitch with many footballers over the years, and he is still thriving in Saudi Arabia
Cristiano Ronaldo is still going strong in 2024 at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
The Portuguese icon has been playing football since the early 2000s, and some footballers have been lucky enough to share the pitch with him.
Some of his former teammates, like Adrien Rabiot, are free agents and are looking for new clubs this summer.
The summer transfer window in Europe is still open, and clubs have been making transfers to bolster their squads ahead of the new season.
Top players like Kylian Mbappe have changed teams, but others are waiting for a club to make a move.
Some of Ronaldo's former teammates are free agents, and it is surprising that some of them are unemployed, per Planet Football.
Ronaldo's ex-teammates who are free agents
Alex Sandro
Sandro spent nine years at Juventus before his time at the club ended in the summer. The left-back played three seasons with Ronaldo and won two league titles. The Brazilian left the club with five Scudetti and five Coppa Italia crowns, per Transfermarkt.
Antonio Adan
Adan came through the Real Madrid academy and was used mainly as a backup goalkeeper. Ronaldo and Adan played together just 12 times. He played for Sporting CP since 2020 but left early this summer, and at 37, he is heading towards retirement.
Cedric Soares
Soares and Ronaldo played together in the Portugal national team, and their best moment came in 2016 when they won Euro 2016. The 32-year-old fullback is a free agent after leaving Arsenal.
Adrien Rabiot
Rabiot has been linked with Manchester United for a while. He is unemployed after leaving Juventus, where Ronaldo and Rabiot played together 70 times. They won the 2019/20 Serie A title. The Frenchman is only 29, so he will be able to find a new home in the next few weeks.
Keylor Navas
Ronaldo played four seasons with the Costa Rica goalkeeper, which brought great success. He was the goalie when Real Madrid won three successive Champions League titles in 206, 2017, and 2018.
Navas is a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain. He spent early 2023 at Nottingham Forest on loan. He was linked with a move to Italy, but a deal never materialized.
Ronaldo scores first Al-Nassr goal since Euros
Legti.ng earlier reported that Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal since returning from Euro 2024.
Cristiano scored in the 57th minute against Al Taawoun, meaning they will face bitter rivals Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final.
