Tourism Minister endorses Goge Africa’s 25th anniversary festival

Last week, the esteemed Goge Africa team visited and shared their exciting plans for their 25th anniversary celebration with the Minister of Tourism Lola Ade-John. The minister while receiving the team commended Goge Africa for promoting Africa’s tourism, culture, history, and investment opportunities.

The minister announced her support for initiatives to revitalise the tourism industry through collaboration between the government and private stakeholders. In October, Goge Africa will host the Goge Africa Festival, to celebrate its 25th anniversary, offering a cultural immersive experience.

According to Goge Africa Chairman Isaac Moses, ” we are inviting a lot of the countries we have visited and a lot of the cultures we have interacted with. There is going to be soup, fashion and dance competition and we tagged it, a symphony of culture. It’s going to hold at the Onikan stadium because the event we had in March turned out so successful and we decided we need a bigger space”.

“It was at Muri Okunola Park, but we now decided to use a bigger space. It’s going to be a one week event because we’re going to have a novelty match between Nollywood practitioners and tourism practitioners and we also have bikers parade”, he noted..
