Transfer: Chelsea Agree To Sell Lukaku To Villa, Karim Adeyemi Set To Join Juve

Romelu Lukaku is on the verge of leaving Chelsea on a permanent transfer, as the Blues have reportedly reached an agreement with Aston Villa for the Belgian striker.

Italian publication Il Mattino claimed that Napoli have shown transfer interest in Lukaku, but Chelsea seem to have made progress with Villa. The decision now lies with Lukaku, as he must choose between a move to Villa or a potential return to Serie A.

If Lukaku agrees to move to Aston Villa, Napoli would not be able to swap their Nigerian 25-year-old striker, Victor Osimhen, with the Belgian forward.

In another transfer development, Borussia Dortmund have accepted Juventus’ offer to sign Karim Adeyemi.

The deal is said to involve a significant fee with potential add-ons, and Adeyemi appears set to leave Dortmund for Juventus, with the player reportedly keen on playing in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Manchester City’s £50 million asking price for Kevin De Bruyne is reportedly frustrating the midfielder’s move to Saudi Arabia.

The 33-year-old Belgian midfielder was a transfer priority of Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad, who reportedly agreed on personal terms with the player.

However, it has been claimed that the Saudi Arabian team has given up on trying to negotiate a transfer deal for De Bruyne. According to transfer analyst Rudy Galetti, Al-Ittihad gave up on the deal after refusing to comply with City’s demands.

Reports claimed that Manchester City turned down Al-Ittihad’s £25 million bid because they are expecting nothing less than £50 million for De Bruyne who has just a season left on his current contract.
