United States defender Tim Ream has bid farewell to Premier League club, Fulham after nine seasons to join Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC.

Tim Ream, 32, made 312 appearances for Fulham and was an integral part of the team until his exit today, August 7, 2024.

The American international started all of the USA’s matches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and this summer’s Copa America.

After completing his exit from Fulham, Ream expressed his gratitude to the club, saying that he will always be a fan of the club. He has signed a contract with Charlotte FC until 2026 with an option for an additional year.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are considering a move for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi as they seek to make their first signing under new manager Arne Slot.

Zubimendi, who was part of the Spain squad that won Euro 2024, has been with Sociedad since 2011 and played a key role in their achievements.

As for Chelsea, the Blues are in talks to sign Spanish forward Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid. This potential transfer would allow Atletico Madrid to secure funds for the acquisition of Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez.

Additionally, the future of Romelu Lukaku remains uncertain. But reports claimed that the Belgian striker is most likely to leave Stamford Bridge permanently for Napoli this summer.
