Troops kill notorious bandit Guddel, brother in Kaduna

Troops have eliminated notorious bandit leader Guddel and his brother during a military operation in Kaduna State.

This was revealed in a post by security analyst, Bakatsine on X.

Guddel was said to be responsible for numerous attacks and abductions across parts of Kaduna and neighboring states.

“Troops have eliminated notorious bandit Guddel and his brother in Kaduna,” Bakatsine wrote.

In a related development, Bakatsine also reported that infighting among bandits in Danmusa, Katsina State, has led to the escape of hostages kidnapped from Kankara.

“Infighting among Danmusa bandits also helped hostages from Kankara escape. Many bandits, including a top leader, were killed in the clash,” he added.

As of the time of this report, security authorities are yet to release an official statement regarding the incidents.
