Trump Urges Supporters To Help Offset Democrats’ Campaign Debts

US President-elect, Donald Trump has called on his supporters to contribute towards offsetting the campaign debts incurred by the Democratic Party.

The Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign is reportedly facing $20 million in election-related expenses.

In a lighthearted post on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, Trump encouraged his backers to assist the Democrats in clearing their debts, citing “desperately needed unity” as the reason behind the gesture.

The president-elect also noted that his campaign had “a lot of money left” due to extensive coverage gained through earned media, which significantly reduced expenditure on traditional campaign advertising.

Trump wrote, “I am very surprised that the Democrats, who fought a hard and valiant fight in the 2020 Presidential Election, raising a record amount of money, didn’t have lots of $’s left over. Now they are being squeezed by vendors and others.

“Whatever we can do to help them during this difficult period, I would strongly recommend we, as a Party and for the sake of desperately needed UNITY, do.

“We have a lot of money left over in that our biggest asset in the campaign was “Earned Media,” and that doesn’t cost very much. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
