How Donald Trump praised wife during speech
Trump won the popular vote and immediately addressed the nation to thank Americans, particularly Republicans, for coming out in huge numbers to vote for her.
While giving his thanksgiving speech, he praised his wife and kids for standing by him as he battled to be reelected again after losing the 2020 election.
In his speech, he said:
"I wanna thank my beautiful wife, Melania, First Lady, who has the number one best-selling book in the country. She has done a great job and works very hard. Works very hard to help people. So I just wanna thank her. But I wanna thank my family, my amazing children. They are amazing children."Trump also thanked his in-laws and wished that his wife's mum was still alive to witness his political comeback.

What Trump's running mate said after winning
Trump's running mate, JD Vance, described the win as the biggest political comeback in the country's history.
Their speech followed Trump’s wins in North Carolina and Georgia—two of the most hotly contested states in this election—have boosted his momentum, bringing him closer to the 270 electoral votes needed for the presidency.
He also maintained their administration would lead the greatest economic comeback in the history of the United States of America.
Major boost as Trump controls senate
Trump, through the Republican Party, has regained control of the US Senate for the first time since 2021, making this a defining moment.
Key races in Ohio and Nebraska were crucial in shifting control of the Senate from the Democrats to the Republicans.
The victory gives Republicans substantial power in confirming presidential appointments, including potential Supreme Court justices, and advancing their legislative priorities, particularly on tax cuts and border security.
