Veteran Nigerian entertainer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has urged controversial pastor, Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere aka Odumeje to use his power to stop Nigeria from burning.

Charly Boy lamented that the economy is failing and the country is desperately in need of saving.

Speaking via his X account, the entertainer lamented that there is hunger in the land.

According to him “Dear Odumeje, We Nigerians have humbly come to you – please can you stop the nation from burning, fire is catching, the economy is plummeting.

“We ask for your power in this desperate time of need.

“Abeg no mind Dangote, he get plenty money oo, this hunger no dey reach him side that’s why E no understand say E go humble before the Indabosky #Naijamatter.”

I Withdraw All The Respect I Once Had For You – Charly Boy To Wole Soyinka

Meanwhile, Charly Boy, has said that he will no longer respect Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka.

He stated this via his X account on Friday.

The veteran entertainer claimed that the ‘mighty have fallen for beans.’

He said this while reacting to the renaming of the National Arts Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos, after Soyinka.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu in a tribute he wrote to celebrate Soyinka in commemoration of his 90th birthday, announced the renaming of the facility after Soyinka.

Reacting, Charly Boy in his post, protested against the move, saying that he has withdrawn all support for the writer.

He wrote, “Uncle WOLE I henceforth withdraw all the respect I once had for you.

“When late Jimmyjohnson talked about you in the 90s, I thought he was only yabbing you
