Victony Out With Debut Album ‘Stubborn’

Nigeria Afropop singer, Anthony Ebuka Victor,  known as Victony has  released his debut album, titled ‘Stubborn’.

He is known for his global crossover hit ‘Soweto’ featuring Don Toliver and Rema, ‘Stubborn’, a fourteen track album  which marked an evolution in Victony’s musical journey .

So far, he has  joined forces with several artists, including Teezo Touchdown, Asake, Saint Jhn, Shallipopi, and more, to curate a one-of-a-kind project that transcends genres and brings the multifaceted nature of African music to the global stage.

Victony’s loyal fan base eagerly awaited the project after the breakout success of his single ‘Stubborn’, featuring Asake. Above all, ‘Stubborn’, the album, is a lyrical representation of Victony’s resilient return to music, following the three-year anniversary of the near-fatal accident that claimed the life of his best friend and required Victony to undergo extensive surgery and rehab to re-learn how to walk.

On the album, Victony stated, “The meaning of ‘Stubborn’ goes beyond what the title implies. This album is a true representation of my story and everything I’ve had to overcome over the past few years.
