VIDEO: One dead, others injured in Niger auto crash

The Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Aliyu Abdullahi, has provided aid to accident victims in Batati along Bida Makwa Road in Niger State.

According to the Nigerian Television Authority on Sunday, the accident, which involved medical doctors from the University Teaching Hospital in Ilorin, Kwara State, resulted in one death and several injuries.

The medical doctors were returning from a programme in Borno State when the accident occurred.

The minister assisted in the rescue operation and offered his official vehicle to transport the survivors to the hospital.

Abdullahi was also said to have provided financial assistance to cover the cost of their medical treatment.
