American rapper and singer-songwriter Wiz Khalifa has shared his thoughts on relationships, stating that couples should date for 10 years before getting married.
Speaking on the Club Shay Shay podcast, which started trending on Wednesday, the 37-year-old explained that a decade allows couples enough time to truly understand each other and connect with their families.
Wiz said, “People should date for 10 years before getting married because that’s long enough to know the person, their family, and who you’re going to deal with when you move in together.”
When host Shannon Sharpe asked if couples should live together before marriage, Wiz said it depends.
He added, “It depends on the situation and the circumstances. Some people move in right away and still need time to figure it out.”
Wiz Khalifa has established himself as a major force in the music industry with an extensive and impressive body of work.
