Watch: Six days of violent protests across the UK

Over the last week there have been a number of violent protests across the UK, where protesters, counter-protesters and police have clashed.

The unrest started the night after a stabbing attack in Southport last week in which three children attending a dance class were killed.

Since then, police have been grappling with almost nightly protests in multiple cities, with many of them turning violent and descending into rioting and looting.

A major flashpoint came on Sunday, when far-right protesters rioted outside hotels in Rotherham and Tamworth housing migrants.
