‘What Will Happen To President Tinubu’s ADC’s Military Service As He Accepts Appointment As New King Of Ilemona’

President Bola Tinubu’s Aide-De-Camp (ADC), Lt Col. Nurudeen Yusuf, has been officially appointed the new Elemona of Ilemona land in Oyun local government area of Kwara state.

Naija News reports Yusuf got the approval of the Nigerian Army before accepting the appointment as a traditional ruler.

The President’s ADC is set to be officially presented his staff of office by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq tomorrow, Saturday, 13th of July, 2024, following due authorization as stated and required by the traditional, customs and ethics of the Nigerian Army.

Information monitored by our correspondent on NTA, however, revealed that His Royal Highness, Oba Nurudeen Alowonle Yusuf, Fiwadade Ilufemiloye Oyekanmi the second, the Elemona of Ilemona land, upon his installation, would appoint regents on the throne until his retirement from the military service.

It would be recalled that following the demise of his father, the late Oba Yusuf Omokanye Oyekanmi, the former Elemona in May, the people of Ilemona, as expressed by the community’s kingmakers, decided to install Lt Col. Yusuf as their new traditional ruler.

Apart from being the heir apparent to the throne, the people of Ilemona have expressed admiration for Lt Col Yusuf for his acts of kindness and humanitarian gestures to the community and environs in the last few years.
