An entrepreneur and social media strategist, Folakemi Yemi-Olaniyi, is set to host a transformative event tagged, the Re-Introducing Yourself Conference, that she says will inspire attendees to realise their full potentials.
Speaking on the theme of the conference, which is slated for September in Ikeja, Lagos, Yemi-Olaniyi, stated that it would aid individuals to break free from past mistakes and limitations, and step confidently into a future defined by their true potential.
She said, “Inspired by the belief that everyone has the potential to live their best life, this conference is about letting go of past mistakes and challenges.
“Too often, people allow their past mistakes, challenges or circumstances to define them and limit their future. This conference is about breaking free from those limitations and empowering individuals to step into the future with confidence and purpose. We want to create a space where people can redefine their narratives, embrace who they are becoming, and take bold steps toward the lives they truly deserve.”
Sharing her hopes for the conference she stated, “We expect this conference to be a turning point for many, where attendees will realise that their past does not dictate their future. We anticipate that people will leave feeling empowered to pursue their goals with renewed energy, unburdened by the weight of previous setbacks.
“We hope that every participant will gain the confidence to reintroduce themselves, not as who they were, but as who they aspire to be. We also expect to build a community of individuals who will support one another on this journey, ensuring that no one has to face it alone.”
Yemi-Olaniyi, who is a graduate of Economics from the Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State, is the founder of BMVIRTUALS, a virtual assistant agency that specialises in social media management; as well as a non-governmental organisation called, Re-Introducing Yourself.
