Du Plessis sarcastically asked whether Adesanya would be bringing his “servants” from his childhood in Nigeria when he visits Africa after the fight, a remark that triggered an emotional reaction from Adesanya.

The usually composed Adesanya broke down, tears streaming down his face, as he struggled to contain his emotions. Despite this, Adesanya, who is a vocal advocate for men being more emotionally expressive, shared the tearful moment on social media, showing no shame in his reaction.

Taking to Instagram shortly after the press conference, Adesanya vowed to crush Du Plessis and reclaim his title in Australia, where he had previously achieved his UFC dream. His message was clear and ominous: “The same city I achieved my dream is the city I’ll kill his. 🪦,” Adesanya captioned the post.

The rivalry between Adesanya and Du Plessis has been brewing for months, with Adesanya determined to prove his dominance in the octagon. His emotion-filled response only adds fuel to what promises to be an explosive showdown at UFC 305, as both fighters prepare to settle the score.

With the fight looming, the tension between the two is palpable, and all eyes are now on Adesanya as he prepares to reclaim his legacy in the octagon.
