Barcelona playmaker Dani Olmo will miss the club’s Champions League clash at Benfica on Tuesday after suffering a calf strain.
Olmo “will miss the next match” said the Catalan giants in a statement Sunday.
The midfielder is currently eligible to play for Barcelona as Spain’s national sports council granted a precautionary measure after La Liga refused to renew his temporary playing license at the end of 2024.
Barcelona are second in the Champions League standings and aiming to wrap up qualification for the last 16 on their trip to Lisbon.
