- Premier League outfit, Chelsea, has unveiled another away jersey ahead of the commencement of the 2024/25 football season
- The new kit announcement has been greeted with mixed reactions from fans especially in the aftermath of the previous jersey unveiled
- The away kit released by the West London club appears to toll the manner of the home jersey, with an orange flame design
Chelsea are back in the spotlight following the recent unveiling of their 2024/25 away jersey.
The Premier League outfit was largely criticised after the unveiling of their home kit, which featured an orange flame and a mix of spiralling blue.
However, undeterred, Chelsea has now introduced their away jersey, which reflects elements of the much-criticised home design.
According to the club’s official website, the white away kit incorporates a ‘blue flame’ theme from the home kit. The orange accents symbolise fire, representing the club’s burning passion and determination to succeed both on and off the pitch.

The away shirt and shorts are crafted from a ‘guava ice’ fabric—a lighter shade of orange—offering a clean, youthful, and trendy look.
Both jerseys are highlighted with ‘team orange’ and ‘rush blue’ trims, providing a contrast that links back to the home kit and pays homage to the club’s traditional colours.
While the London club seems pleased with their new season's attire, many fans have taken to social media to share their opinions on the new design.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Chelsea's pre-season began on a less-than-ideal note under new manager Enzo Maresca, as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Wrexham in their opening fixture.
In the aftermath of the fixture, Wrexham's manager, Phil Parkinson, appeared to deliver a subtle jibe at Chelsea's performance on the night.
The Wrexham manager praised his team's performance and subtly taunted Chelsea, by highlighting the financial gap between the two clubs.
