A faith-driven human development musical concert, Faithspiration Initiative, kick-started the Faithspiration night of praise, worship and mega empowerment for residents of Anambra, as part of activities marking the festive season.

The organisers said the event, which took place at St. Joseph Square of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Awka Etiti, in Idemili South Local Government Area of the state, began with an empowerment programme benefitting over 200 families.

In a statement sent to Society Plus, the founder of Faithspiration Initiative, Reverend Fr. George Adimike, revealed that the initiative provided financial support to 35 entrepreneurs, each receiving N500,000 during the event.

Adimike said the event, themed, ‘Walking in dominion: Marching into greatness’, was a blend of entertainment, evangelization and empowerment, aligning with Faithspiration’s tripartite slogan: “Inspire, Christify, and Flourish”.

The cleric said this followed the success of a previous gathering in November, where 25 youths were empowered with N300,000 each.

According to him, the programme featured an exciting lineup of personalities and celebrities, including Sir One on One, Albino Brothers, Igwe White, and Mirabel Chisom, among others.

He added, ““Faithspiration Initiative is a non-profit platform committed to drawing young people closer to God while countering the rising antagonism towards the Christian faith.

“Through its programmes, the initiative inspires faith-driven human development, leadership, and youth entrepreneurship, creating a vibrant platform for young people to grow in their spiritual and personal lives.”

The grand finale of the event is scheduled for Friday, January 3, 2025, and the Catholic Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of the Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Maduka Okeke, will be the host.
