Hardship: Mischief makers behind planned protest – Gov Uzodinma

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has said the planned protest over hardship in the country is being hatched by mischief makers who are bent on embarrassing the government.

He said there was no point where all citizens of the country gathered to say they wanted to proceed with a protest over the hardship being faced in the country, adding that the people of the southeast region would never be a part of such action.

Uzodinma gave his views on Wednesday when he led former Senate President and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim to the Presidential Villa over his defection to the All Progressive Congress.

He said Nigerians should exercise some patience with the Federal Government as it grapples with the challenges it met on the ground.
