A group known as Imo State Leadership In Diaspora Forum Worldwide has canvass awareness for the cultural heritage of the state, just as it promised to develop actionable strategies for sustainable progress of the state.
President-General of the group, Sampson Udeh, who spoke in Owerri on Friday said the organisation was dedicated to addressing the economic challenges facing the people of the state.
He said, the group would hold Diaspora Summit in January 2025, explaining that “The summit will focus on economic growth, preservation of cultural heritage, and the role of Imolites in diaspora in contributing to the development of Imo State and the need for adequate security in our dear Imo State.”
“It would also devise strategies for the economic growth and development of Imo State, preservation of cultural heritage and traditions and the role of Imolites in diaspora in contributing to the development of Imo State.”
