The Edo State House of Assembly, on Tuesday, has suspended all the elected chairmen and vice chairmen of the 18 local government area councils over allegation of ‘misappropriation of funds’.
The decision was taken by the House during the plenary after a heated debate.
The heads of the various legislative arms of the LGAs have been directed to oversee the running of the councils for the next two months.
