The Kano State Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Hashimu Dungurawa, has warned President Tinubu against his perceived stance on the continued tussles for the Kano Emirate, saying his seeming laxity would surely work against his second term mission in 2027.

Dungurawa who was speaking to newsmen in his Lugard House office, on Sunday, worried that the militarization of Kano by the President because of the Emirate crises, is giving him bad names while allowing those who are the henchmen in the tussle to roam about freely”.

“Your perceived stance on the ongoing Kano Emirate Tussles would surely work against you in 2027 because if you think you can use it to gain ground in Kano when the Chips are down you will realize your mistakes”.

The NNPP Chairman said, “If the President thinks he will use a few of his Kins men in Kano and the alleged Bayero’s Yoruba lineage to continue to keep the Deposed Emir Aminu Ado Bayero in the State, let him wait for 2027, we will show him that those People will not help him”, Dungurawa warned.

He then appealed to the President to see reason in doing all he could to bring to an end the Emirate debacles by ensuring that the Deposed Emir is taking away from Kano”.

Hashimu Sulaiman Dungurawa explained that his Party the NNPP will still field the Leader of the Party, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for the Presidential Candidature in 2027, assuring that Kwankwaso would be the next President of Nigeria.

“We are going to field Kwankwaso as our Party Presidential Candidate in 2027, because for now he stands as the only person who will make it to the Presidency and he stands the chances of becoming the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, God willing”.

The NNPP Chairman also attacked the APC National Chairman Ganduje, “Kano, has never witnessed a wicked Governor like Ganduje whose wickedness did not leave behind even a pathetic thousand of Civil Service Retirees”.

Dungurawa worried that “the sufferings and misgovernance of Ganduje still Languished on Kano People’s, with the retirees left behind to wallow in destitution and abject Poverty”.

“You can see that after refusing to pay the retirees the gratuities, even their monthly Pension, the Government of Ganduje applied a deductions method which though was illegal, which at the end of his eight years in office was said to have illegally deducted well over N5.4 Billion”.
