Popular Nigerian singer and former BBNaija winner, Laycon, has publicly called out DJ Neptune over unpaid royalties for their collaboration on the song “Nobody (Icons Remix).”
In a viral post on his X handle on Wednesday, Laycon claimed that DJ Neptune has yet to pay him for their collaborative effort. The reality star expressed his frustration, highlighting that Neptune has remained silent on the matter for four years.
“Abeg o, DJ Neptune how far my agreement and split for the ‘Nobody (Icons Remix)’ song though. Is it not still ready? Haba it’s been 4 years,” Laycon wrote.
DJ Neptune has not yet responded to Laycon’s allegations.
The “Nobody (Icons Remix),” which also featured Joeboy, was released in October 2020 and was dedicated to Laycon’s fans, known as Icons.
