Shehu Sani, a prominent public figure, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share the incident.

He wrote, "A man was chased out of the mosque in Abuja today after being recognised as repeatedly converting to Islam and Christianity in many mosques and churches and receiving donations and gifts from worshippers."

The incident has sparked discussions on social media about the integrity of religious conversions and the exploitation of faith communities.

Authorities have yet to comment on the matter, and it remains unclear what actions, if any, will be taken against the individual.

Man converts to Islam, shares the experience

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a man with the name Anthony Michael has shared how he converted to Islam during the holy month of Ramadan. After sharing the lovely photos he took during his conversion ceremony, he said that he is so overjoyed by the support he has received on Twitter since he made the news known.

Michael said that “Islam is the religion of love, gratitude, and peace”, saying the past recent months have been very inspiring for him. He said that the messages he received from his brothers and sisters in Islam made his day glorious and the conversion more beautiful.
