As humans have difference faces, so does each person’s motivating factor. One of Nigeria’s rising fascinating content creators, Uzoemeka Clinton Ogemdi, better known as Samskid, found his own ‘push’ factor in the eyes of his parents.

Born on August 3, 1997, Samskid hails from Umukele, Umulolo Okigwe local government area of Imo State. After his primary and secondary education, the actor and fashion and lifestyle influencer proceeded to the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, to obtain a degree in Urban and Regional Planning.

Samskid is unique in character, so does his content, which has elements of interesting narration done in mute mode but relatable to everyday life and experiences. He puts his versatility and natural creative tendencies into full display, combining seriousness and humour at the same time, to communicate with millions of his fans across the globe.

For Samskid, also called Greatest Actor Of All Time on social media, it has been myriad of experiences that contain pleasant and long hard ones. His journey in destiny was properly shaped out after acting in a school drama, in which he wowed the crowd, including his parents. When he decided to pursue a career in that direction, his dad and mum rarely had an objection.

This is why Samskid is chasing a ‘crazy’ dream about his career, but he is ready to give it all it takes. According to him, the inspiration behind his passion to succeed an actor, is his parents, whom he wants to make extremely proud.

“The urge not to fail my mum and dad. My parents witness when i acted the primary school drama, so later in life when i ventured into content creation, they supported me”, he said when asked about what drives his ambition.

“I have always had the passion for acting, while i was a kid, i did these school drama and the crowd was wowed, that was when i decided that i would find a way to show my potentials to the world. It’s a Niche i  adopted to grow a universal fanbase, without language barriers, but i intend to expand so enough, because i want to go into youtube short movies, in the next phase of my career”.

Narrating some of the challenges he faced after starting out as a content creator, Samskid recalled that it was so bad that nobody wanted to feature in his videos because those he approached did not believe in him. Today, he has almost 7million followers on Instagram and TikTok.

“When i first started, i found it difficult to get people to feature in my videos because they hardly believed in me, but with time all that changed when they started seeing results, at first i got low views but with time and consistency that also changed, i just kept working harder,” he explained.
